For the past seven years, the RMYC has been negotiating with the Government for suitable premises to move to.  A site has finally been aggreed upon and a recent EGM atthe RMYC authorised the Committee to enter into an aggreement with Government.

Unfortunately, other parties involved and the Government have not yet finalised other outstanding issues.  This leaves the RMYC in a very delicate situation. One where the Committee need to and want to apply for building permission for the new club house and marina but cannot as the lease has not yet been finalised.
