Further to our previouscorrespondence re the J/70 Sailing Programme, we are pleased to advise thatthe J/70 Association will be organizing a meeting for all those interestedin this Programme.

The meeting will be heldon Monday 15th February at 19:00hrsat the Royal Malta Yacht Club. During the meeting the RMYC and theAssociation will be providing attendees with detailed information about theJ/70 Sailing League as well as the forthcoming taster weekend, to be held onthe 20th and 21st February.

The Taster Weekend willbe run as a J70 League Format with racing scheduled Saturday 1000hrs to 1400hrsand Sunday 0930hrs  to 1300hrs. The idea is to introduce the J70 LeagueConcept and enable crews to experience this type of racing.  The event isopen to all teams against a small entry fee. Teams, made up of 4 people are toregister by Thursday 18th February.

We encourage members toattend as this is a great opportunity for local keel boat teams to improvetheir crew work as well as experience fast and exciting one design fleetracing.
