The Royal Malta Yacht Club announced the criteria for the annual Short Handed Series Trophy, the Offshore Challenge Trophy and the new trophy the Coastal Challenge Trophy.

These Trophies will be awarded to the boat that performs best overall in the IRC Category in the RMYC offshore races which count towards this trophy and which are listed below.  The owner of a boat eligible for this trophy shall be a full member of the RMYC.

Points will be awarded to each boat according to its overall position in each race which will vary with the number of starters according to the table below and multiplied by the Points factor for the race.
