Allegra claims overall awards in both the Medcomms Autumn Series and Round Malta Race.

Alfred Manduca and his crew on board "Allegra Garmin" (Beneteau First 47.7) have secured a great result in the Autumn Series and Round Malta race with a first overall in both races.

In the Medcomms Autumn Series, Alfred finished in first place, Peter Hopps and Hillary Cook finished the series in second place on board "Nisida", whilst "Elusive" finished in third place.

In Class A in the Medcomms Round Malta Race, "Allegra Garmin" finished first again, followed by Dr.Chris Saliba on board "Primavera" and "Maltese Falcon AirMalta" finished in third place with Martin Scicluna at the helm.

In Class B, it was an excellant showing by "Spirit of the Winds" (Dufour 40) with Anton Calleja at the helm to claim first in class, followed by Mario Sant on board "Time Out" in second place with veteran Godwin Zammit on board "Inspiration" finishing off the podium.  "Mischief" was forced to retire after just 14 minutes of racing when the main car track was damaged and had to limp back to harbour.

In the Cruiser Class, David Cremona on board "Breezer" (Oceanis 473) finished in first place, followed by Mark Galea on board "Misty Blue", another Oceanis 473, with Dr Bernard finishing off his first race in third place on board "Liara", a First 47.7

Prize giving will be held on Saturday at 1230 during the Clubs Christmas drinks.
