The Slam Weekend Regatta is scheduled from Friday 18th May to Sunday 20th 2012.

Another great weekend of keel boat and dinghy sailing is being organized for the Slam Weekend Regatta.

Briefing is being held on Wednesday 16th May at 7.00pm

This year's activity will be focused around the club. Participating yachts are expected to use the club's berthing & facilities (showers & lockers) – berthing priority will be given to boats normally berthed away from Marsamxett.

Races start Friday 18th May at 5.00pm followed by drinks & nibbles in the evening.  Races continue Saturday morning at 10.00am.  A BBQ is being held on the Saturday evening followed by a disco/party. Due to the large number of people attending last year's BBQ, bookings have to be made on Wednesday 16th May at the briefing to guarantee a place or by phoning on 21333109 or via email info@rmyc.org

After Sunday's races there shall be the infamous RLR tug of war, with a bottle of "Pol Roger" being given to the strongest team & finally the event coming to a close with the prize giving reception.
