One of the main aspects the Club wanted to improve upon when we moved from Couvre Port is the quality of facilities we offer our members in our new Clubhouse.

9 months have passed since we opened our doors in Ta'Xbiex and I am sure you have all witnessed a major improvement from our previous dwelling. The lobby, bar and lounge area together with the conference and meeting rooms, the new upper terrace and the enormous roof all make up for a perfect Clubhouse.

Another project we embarked upon was a Gymnasium. We are pleased to inform you that the gym is now complete and ready to accept its first members. The RMYC has invested heavily in gym equipment, lockers, showers and changing room facilities in the basement level and I am sure you will find these to your liking.

The gym equipment includes a rowing machine, 2 exercise bikes, a treadmill and an elliptical cross trainer together with a wide range of Pro Dual Machines form the top brand "Body-Solid".  Free wireless internet together with 2 large plasma screens with "GO TV" in a fully air-conditioning environment provide an excellent atmosphere for members to burn off those extra calories. You can also dock your Ipod in the surround sound system and listen to your own tunes whilst working out.  In the near future, we are also planning to have an instructor visit the gym on a fortnightly basis to give advice to our members on the routine they should be working on. At a mere 75 euro annual membership, I am sure we will see many of you take up this advantageous offer.
