Triple Handed Round Gozo Race – Saturday 13th June
With restrictions relating to Sailing and Racing being lifted as of tomorrow, Friday 4th June, the RMYC will be relaunching its racing calendar with the Triple Handed Round Gozo Race.
Whilst this race was initially scheduled to take place this weekend, the Club has moved the event by a week to give those racers who have not yet revalidated their IRC Certificate, time to do so. The IRC Rating is a requirement, so please do not leave to the last minute.
May we remind you that although substantial measures have been lifted there are still some rules that you need to adhere to. These are as follows:-
- social distancing measures are followed;
- regular washing of hands with soap and water;
- wearing of face masks – unless undertaking strenuous exercise;
- no sharing of water bottles or cups;
Adherence to these rules is the responsibility of the boat’s skipper.
